$100,000 boost for mental health

07 Apr 2017 Wangaratta Chronicle, Wangaratta VIC (General News) MENTAL health services in Wangaratta received an extra boost with $100,000 being pledged to expand Gateway Healths services. The money was announced by Jaclyn Symes (MLC, Northern Victoria) yesterday, and it will allow Gateway Health to fitout a 266 square metre shell for the alcohol and other drug service area facility. It comes after more than $300,000 in funding was confirmed for Albury Wodonga Health earlier this week, with the organisation to upgrade Wangarattas Kerferd Unit and Mackie House Older Persons Mental Health Service, facilities it is responsible for operating.
